Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to a Growing Mission of Hope

Tower of Hope Evangelical Church International grew from humble beginnings in a small two-bedroom house led by Pastor Allen Babirye Matovu together with her husband Pastor Asaph Matovu, where people gathered seeking prayer, healing, restoration and spiritual support. What began as a small gathering developed into a growing ministry with a clear calling: to share the Gospel and become a living hope to people and communities.

Today, Tower of Hope remains committed to proclaiming the Gospel and demonstrating the love of Christ in ways that address the whole person: spiritually, emotionally and physically. We are a community of worshippers, intercessors, families, young people and servant leaders, united by the call to carry hope beyond the walls of the Church.
